Scholarship Program (Africa) | Patiala School for the Deaf and Blind (India)

DD Puri Current Projects

Currently, the DD Puri Foundation is actively involved in two major projects. The DD Puri Scholarship Program, partnered with Windle Trust Kenya, provides war survivors from East Africa the opportunity for advanced tertiary education.

The Patiala School for the Deaf and Blind has been a loving, invaluable learning center in the state of Punjab, India for 40 years. Unfortunately, the living conditions for the boarding students and classroom conditions have been less then adequate, due to tight spaces and a lack of funds for the center. Together with the DD Puri Foundation, the Center will be moving into a brand new facility more conducive for learning and life skills training.

DD Puri Foundation and Windle Trust Kenya have teamed up to support Girl-child education at the Kakuma Refugee Camp. The "DD Puri Girls" (in the background in green uniform) watch as a fellow classmate receives an award.
